How it works
Tap Watch shows which Walthamstow pubs have your beer on tap, and how recently someone checked. It covers draught beer and cider only: cask and keg, not bottles or cans.
Where the lists come from
Each pub's tap list starts from a visit or a photo of the bar. After that, it's kept up to date by people drinking there.
Still on?
At the pub, open it on Tap Watch and tap:
- 👍 if a beer is still on. Its date updates straight away.
- 👎 if it has gone. It's marked as reported gone. If someone else also says it's gone, it comes off the list.
Each phone can vote on each beer once a day.
What the colours mean
- Green checked in the last month
- Amber checked 1 to 4 months ago
- Grey not checked for over 4 months, so it may have changed
Adding to the list
Spotted a beer that isn't listed, or a list that's out of date? Open the pub and use Submit a beer or Send photos of the taps. Everything sent in is checked before it goes on the site.
Only regular beers are listed, not one-off guest beers.
Distances
Distances are measured in a straight line from where you are, or from a postcode you enter. Phone location can be a few hundred metres out, so a postcode is often more accurate.
Light and dark
The site turns dark from sunset to sunrise in Walthamstow. Choose Light or Dark at the bottom of the main page if you'd rather keep one.
